The weather forecast for fall and winter in the Netherlands always seems to include quite a bit of rain or snowfall. Looking to spend a day in The Hague region, out of the rain? We have compiled a list of some indoor activities in The Hague. Visit a museum, go see a movie or experience an escape room!

 

Tip 1: Visit a museum

The Hague region is home to 36(!) wonderful museums and art galleries. Go see the world-famous painting 'The Girl with the Pearl Earring' by Vermeer in the Mauritshuis. Or view M.C. Tip 2: Visit the Peace Palace

Day in, day out people do their utmost in The Hague to enhance the world we live in. The epitome of this is the Peace Palace (Vredespaleis) which was built around 100 years ago. Experience why The Hague is the international city of Peace and Justice, and book a tour of the Peace Palace. The Eternal Peace Flame burns just beside the entrance of the Peace Palace – a beautiful building, home to the International Court of Justice and the Permanent Court of Arbitration.
